In my last post I described the difference between YouTube and Daily Motion. Well, now it’s time to describe the difference between YouTube and LiveLeak.
YouTube is a video website suitable for all ages and with moderated content. LiveLeak is a video site targeted to a more adult audience. LiveLeak shows graphical videos while YouTube doesn’t and the videos on YouTube not suitable for persons under eighteen are secured by an age verification system.
So if you’re looking for horrific videos than LiveLeak is the site to visit.
But if you want more choice better video quality, far more music videos than you should go to YouTube. Nothing can beat YouTube.
YouTube is by far the most popular source for videos on the internet. However, YouTube isn’t the only fish in the pond. It is just the biggest fish.
Another fish swimming around is called Daily Motion.
Daily Motion offers many videos similar to YouTube. Actually, most of the videos on Daily Motion can be found on YouTube as well.
The other way around is a different story, because YouTube offers a whole lot more videos than Daily Motion.
Daily Motion is equipped with an interface which is difficult to understand. The videos load very slowly compared to YouTube. If we’re going to look for music videos on Daily Motion than you will be disappointed. There is next to nothing available!
For me this is the heaviest weighing factor for not using Daily Motion anymore. I can’t find anything of my favorite music. All I can find are a couple of oldies and that’s it.
YouTube is still the king when it comes to music videos. Well, YouTube is the king on every single aspect.
There aren’t any other alternatives to YouTube. A music lover like me has to go to YouTube, because there isn’t anything better available.
So if you want to go to a video website and want to find anything on the particular site, there is no substitute for YouTube.
I’m my last post I’ve explained to you how useful YouTube can be if you’re a music lover like me.
Because not everybody wants to turn their computer on to listen to music and not everyone uses a media PC to listen to music, many people just want to listen to their stereo and listen to Cd’s or MP3’s.

It’s because youtube offers a great music collection, especially if you’re looking for live concerts. Youtube has a unique offer in live music.
Another cool thing about youtube is that you are able to create playlist as well! That way you can first create a playlist and after the job is done, sit back, relax and enjoy the music!
Lots of people go to youtube to watch funny videos or similar stuff. For me it’s just another great source for music. I hardly use my Cd-player nowadays.
Another advantage for youtube above other music sources i the fact the music always comes along with a nice video. That is just really cool, sit on your couch, turn on the HTPC, open up the webbrowser and go and play your favorite playlist on youtube, or create a new one!
By the way a generous tip from me now; if you want to check out music on youtube, you have to go to youtube/music. Here you can browse trough categories and are able to search through different music categories as well. Pretty neat, right?
